I teach mixed media, decorative painting, card making and papercrafts, jewellery making and creative embroidery classes. Classes around the Country

I've finally got time to teach some classes elsewhere this September. Here are the details:

Native American Headdress

14th September 2019 an all day class at Lets Be Creative in Midhurst Hampshire. We will use DecoArt Americana acrylic paints on black card to create this beautiful headdress. Using Decorative Painting brush strokes and dotting techniques I will show you how to build the layers needed to paint this piece. Then you can choose from various inspirational quotes to add to your finished artwork.

Folk It Class

Saturday 28th September. Hosted by Country View Crafts. in Potton, Bedfordshire, this all day class is one of my favourites. I'll teach you the classic series 1 Folk It rose wreath design using acrylic paints, how to take designs and transfer them onto card, MDF hearts and a candle, plus how to create a distress background look.  As well the rose design, I will show you how to create a series of different beautiful patterns to add to a whole range of bases and hopefully get your artistic juices flowing! Floral Wreath Painting Class

In October I will be teaching this lovely wreath painting class at Lets Be Creative (that gorgeous barn venue again!), suitable for beginners and fab for both autumn celebrations and Christmas!

Saturday 1st September - Simple Miniature Seascapes

I'll show you simple techniques to build a beautiful Seascape Scene - including now to add sand, clouds, land, birds and boats at a fantastic venue in Hampshire called Lets Be Creative 

 Saturday 11th August 2018- Dot Roses Folk It
My latest #FolkIt class at Lets Be Creative in Rogate Hampshire on Saturday 11th August 2018. Click on the name for details. I'll take you through some beautiful dotting designs and background distress techniques suitable for use on a wide range of projects! We will aim to complete 3 different projects during the day and learn several designs.

I'm looking forward to teaching this abstract mixed media square canvas, pictured bottom right of the collage photo below, at several venues around the country this year!

The first class will be at Lets Be Creative in Rogate Hampshire on 3rd March 2018.. Click on the name for details.
The second class will be as part of the BADFA (British Association of Decorative Painters) Convention. The mixed media canvas class will be an all day class on Saturday 12th May. This will be at the Ibis Hotel in Crick Rugby. Click on the BADFA link above to access the booking form.

I will also be teaching this lovely Poppy, Rosebuds and Blossoms class at the Convention, on Friday 11th May from 12.30-5pm.

My next class in Esher will be on Saturday 9th December 2017. I'll run two 2 hour classes at 10 am and 2pm. Well prepare two designs and you can choose your favourite to make into a card.

The cost is currently £9 per person all equipment is provided, but feel free to bring small scissors and glue etc if you prefer.  Tea/ Coffee / alcohol free mulled wine included during the break.

I'll teaching again at Lets Be Creative on 25th November, an introduction to Art Journaling: a wonderful, winter themed day of tips and techniques including 'secret writing', layering, stamping and stencilling. Here is one of the two pages I hope we will complete on the day! Look out for this to go live on the website!
