So I was getting a bit carried away with all things metallic this past few days, which is fab, but to balance things out I decided to chuck in a couple of pretty girlie cards. Blow me down hasn't one of them been a complete nightmare; I kept mucking bits up, sticking my arms in wet glitter, putting things on skewiff. Anyway I finished the other three and the 'naughty one' is in pieces waiting to be put together (when I'm feeling brave enough!).

From taking apart watches and jewellery to melting Frantage, I've been having great fun this afternoon: I finished my Brother-in-Laws birthday card just in time (lol - see card) and I've finished a couple of sample tags for the colourising demos I'll be doing at the Comic Relief Fundraiser party I'm running on the 15th March. So nice to finally get back into my craft room after various dramas that life holds - mind you I did have to spend an hour clearing up before I could even GET IN the craft room!!!!

Loving the new Papermania Spots & Stripes collection. Here is a card I made using some scraps and buttons. Instructions below:

Strips of paper folded in half to form squares (so need to be twice as long as wide) various sizes, biggest was around 8cm x 4cm, all rounded with the X-Cut corner punch then given an aperture using the X-cut small circle die (or use a 1" punch). Buttons tied with cotton threat peep through the aperture. The sentiment is from one of the Urban Stamp sets and I used Papermania self-adhesive gems in the corners and one on the sentiment. Alladded to a square card with backing paper, ribbon and a border strip off cut from another project. Pips!
