This was a really quick card to do. I threaded ribbon through the holes in a shaped card which I made into a stepper card and put more of the same ribbon across the bottom panel. I inked white card with Tim Holtz Salty Ocean distress ink. Stamped this beautiful Water Droplet stamp from Designs By Ryn: (http://designsbyryn.com/index.php/shop1/#!/~/product/category=2559654&id=11297725)
I then used Glossy Accents on the droplets to make them really shine. Once dry I spritzed with water and blotted, so the surrounding card was lighter than the droplets. Layered this onto white then black mats and added the Dream Sentiment from one of Ali Reeves stamp sets. I punched two circles, inked the smaller one, threaded ribbon through the button, stuck to the circles on top of a feather & voila!

  6. Hey Suz, thanks for posting this to my page. I just assumed the back part was an envelope. I have no idea what a Stepper card is but it looks neat! I also like the feather touch in there. Nice card! I'll re post soon :)

    1. Hi Cybil, thanks for the lovely comment - I removed the content of your comment only because you'd included your email address and after publishing I couldn't edit it to remove it - thought you might not like it to be public!!!. Always happy to share techniques, the stamp itself is so good that the droplets look very realistic anyway, and to add a little more dimension and the look of water, I used Glossy Accents on each droplet. Hope the stamp comes back into stock for you soon. Suz xxx
